Two weeks ago my friend Frank the Butcher of Butcher’s Block/Concepts Boston-fame asked me if I was interested to produce a mix for him. As if my hands weren’t full enough already, I said “yes” cause that’s fam. I hadn’t made a mix or even touched my turntables in a minute, so this would be fun. Frank sent me 50 of his favorite 90’s Hip Hop records for me to work with, and being that I know 99% of them inside out, I decided to take on the challenge and use all 50. The result is one dense continuous mix. Recorded in two sessions. Enjoy!
