2015

2014 – Here’s looking at you kid.!

Many a resolution fulfilled, but I can’t say that it was the best of years. Perhaps it’s because I’m blinded by the frustrations of the last few months. Or perhaps it’s because I lack focus without a sense of direction in the upcoming ones. Whatever it is, I’m ready to make 2015 infinitely better. Quarter century strong, let’s do the damn thing.

1. Invest in realizing my core values (peace, fulfillment, happiness)
2. Prioritize that & those who prioritize me. Remember self-worth, but be wary of ego and pride. “I know what I bring to the table, so trust me when I say I’m not afraid to eat alone.”
3. Make strides in learning to read/write Mandarin
4. Minimize the material goods in my life and liberate myself of as many possessions as possible. Buy good food and great books above all else.
5. Get in the best shape yet. Maybe run a marathon, but definitely be able to do at least five chin-ups without any assistance. Food as fuel. #paleo
6. Take more pictures.
7. Spend more time with family. Call Mom/Munchkin and tell them I love them on a regular basis.
8. Donate time, money, energy to those less fortunate. Give without expecting anything in return.
9. Remain grounded in my values, my morals and ultimately who I am regardless of the situation. Listen to my heart with a grain of salt from my head.
10. Revisit the “top 30” list and create plans to execute at least 15 of the top 30 before year’s end.
